Start with the area at risk

Send photographs and dimensions of the area, together with details of nearby vehicle movement. Selection and positioning should account for clearances, access and the fixing surface.

If you have an existing protector to replace, send its dimensions and photographs of both the item and its location.

After an impact

Protectors help reduce exposure to contact, but impacts still need to be reported and affected racking or equipment checked. A protector is not a substitute for checking damaged components.
